The CNESST sends you your rate every autumn, but never the answer to the one question you care about: what does it change, in dollars, if we reduce injuries? This simulator answers that one.

This site is maintained by one person. The formula is checked against every new edition of the employer's guide, and the calculation is verified automatically against the worked example published by the CNESST before each deployment.

How the site is funded

The tool is free, with no advertising, no resale of data and no paid version to date. Hosting costs a few dollars a month, paid by the publisher. If a paid offer ever appears, it will cover an additional deliverable: the calculator itself will stay free.

Corrections and updates

The parameters are revised at each official publication. The date of the last verification is shown on the methodology page and in the footer of every screen.
